Platinum Electrodes – Mesh, Wire, Ring, Rod, and Disc Types

99.99% Platinum Mesh Auxiliary Electrode – PTFE Rod – Custom Sizes

Product Overview

The Platinum Mesh Auxiliary Electrode is designed for electrochemical applications requiring high conductivity, chemical inertness, and long-term corrosion resistance. Manufactured from 99.99% high-purity platinum mesh and assembled with a chemically resistant PTFE electrode rod, it provides stable performance in acidic, neutral, and alkaline electrolyte systems.

The electrode is suitable for use as a counter electrode in cyclic voltammetry (CV), linear sweep voltammetry (LSV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), chronoamperometry (CA), chronopotentiometry (CP), electrocatalysis, corrosion testing, and general electrochemical research. Multiple mesh sizes are available from 5 × 5 mm to 50 × 50 mm, with optional reinforcement and custom configurations available upon request.

Key Features

  • 99.99% High-Purity Platinum Mesh for excellent conductivity, stability, and reproducible electrochemical performance
  • Large Effective Surface Area suitable for counter-electrode use and high-current electrochemical reactions
  • Excellent Corrosion Resistance in acidic, neutral, alkaline, and salt-containing electrolytes
  • PTFE Electrode Rod provides chemical resistance, electrical insulation, and stable immersion geometry
  • Gold-Plated Copper Terminal offers a low-resistance electrical connection
  • Optional Diagonal Reinforcement improves rigidity for larger mesh sizes or flowing electrolyte systems
