Side-Window Optical Electrochemical Cell

This optical electrochemical cell features a lateral quartz observation window for in situ spectroscopy or visual analysis during electrochemical reactions. The cell is available in both PTFE and all-PTFE versions, compatible with standard three-electrode configurations and adaptable for sealed or unsealed experiments.

Assembly Instructions

Quartz-Window Electrochemical Cell:

  1. Components: Quartz window, sealing O-rings, sealing plugs, PTFE cap, PTFE/glass body
  2. Insert electrodes and gas tubes through the cap
  3. Use sealing nuts to compress the O-rings on each port and tighten to ensure sealing
  4. Install the large sealing ring on the body and secure it to the cap groove
  5. Cell is ready for use in a three-electrode configuration

All-PTFE Quartz-Window Electrochemical Cell:

  1. Components: PTFE optical window, sealing O-rings, sealing plugs, PTFE cap, PTFE cell body
  2. Insert electrodes and gas tubes into the ports
  3. Secure the ports with sealing nuts, pressing the O-rings tightly
  4. Attach the main sealing ring on the cell body, then snap it into the PTFE cap groove
  5. Installation complete – ready for use with standard three-electrode systems
