Product Overview
The Sample Support Holder is designed for mounting flat sample materials in electrochemical cells and laboratory test systems. The holder mechanically secures conductive or non-conductive specimens while defining a controlled exposed surface area for electrochemical measurements and chemical analysis.
The standard configuration accommodates samples with a thickness range of 0.1–2 mm and a diameter range of 12–14.5 mm. A standard exposed reaction area of 1 cm² is provided for reproducible electrode area definition during testing.
The holder body is manufactured from PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), which provides electrical insulation between the sample and cell hardware while maintaining compatibility with acidic, alkaline, and solvent-based electrolytes.
