This high-purity titanium sheet electrode clip is designed for superior corrosion resistance, strength, and stability in demanding electrochemical applications. Available in multiple sizes and customizable configurations, it is ideal for laboratory and industrial research environments.
1. Physical & Chemical Properties
- Excellent Corrosion Resistance: Naturally forms a dense TiO₂ oxide layer in air, protecting against strong acids, alkalis, seawater, and chlorides — perfect for harsh environments like electrolytic cells or marine engineering. Outlasts traditional metal electrodes such as iron and copper.
- Low Density & High Strength: Density of ~4.5 g/cm³ (57% of steel) with comparable strength to high-strength steel — lightweight yet mechanically stable for easy processing and installation.
- Good Electrical Conductivity: Medium conductivity suitable for most electrochemical current transmission needs, with only slightly lower conductivity than copper or aluminum.
- Excellent Biocompatibility: Bio-inert, non-toxic, and non-allergenic — widely used in medical implant electrodes including pacemakers and neural stimulators.
2. Electrochemical Performance
- High Stability: Inert electrode characteristics prevent participation in reactions, avoiding electrolyte contamination — ideal for precision-controlled applications like water electrolysis, electroplating, and organic synthesis.
