Side-Window Quartz Optical Electrochemical Cell
The Potentiolab Side-Window Quartz Optical Electrochemical Cell is designed for in situ optical monitoring, photo-electrochemical studies, and corrosive electrolyte systems. Available in PTFE and all-PTFE versions, it supports standard three-electrode configurations and can be used in sealed or non-sealed modes.
PTFE Material Advantages

Assembly Instructions
Quartz-Window Electrochemical Cell:
- Components: Quartz window, sealing O-rings, sealing plugs, PTFE cap, PTFE/glass body
- Insert electrodes and gas tubes through the cap
- Use sealing nuts to compress the O-rings on each port and tighten
- Install the large sealing ring on the body and secure it to the cap groove
- Cell is ready for three-electrode configuration
All-PTFE Quartz-Window Electrochemical Cell:
- Components: PTFE optical window, sealing O-rings, sealing plugs, PTFE cap, PTFE cell body
- Insert electrodes and gas tubes into the ports
- Secure the ports with sealing nuts, pressing the O-rings tightly
- Attach the main sealing ring on the cell body, then snap it into the PTFE cap groove
- Installation complete – ready for standard three-electrode experiments
